Living outside a media hub is generally not a reason for exclusion. Productions are not only looking for people from Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, or Munich; projects are cast according to appearance, requirements, availability, and agreed content. What matters is whether travel and scheduling can realistically be planned for both sides.

An in-person casting is arranged only when there is a specific reason to do so. It takes place exclusively in a studio or booked location, never in a private home.

Planning travel, travel costs, and accommodation correctly

For a confirmed job, the production covers your travel costs and catering on the shooting day. Before accepting, clarify in writing which means of transport is intended, whether tickets will be booked, and how reimbursement for a car journey will be handled. This prevents misunderstandings shortly before the appointment.

For very early starts or a long journey home, an overnight stay may be sensible. Whether a hotel is needed, who books it, and which costs are covered must be clarified before your binding acceptance. Do not travel assuming that accommodation can still be arranged afterward.

Sometimes several appointments can be combined. For example, an initial appointment, new profile-card photos, and an already agreed shooting day could take place during the same trip. However, combining appointments is planned only when every appointment has been confirmed in advance and sufficient breaks remain.

Do not schedule additional appointments on your own initiative so closely together that delays become likely. Productions need reliable arrival times, while you need enough time for food, rest, and the return journey. Especially for longer distances, one well-prepared job is often more sensible than several uncertain appointments.

At the set, the production provides catering, a private shower, and a room where you can withdraw. A companion may come along without prior notice. They must respect the production process but can support you with travel and your personal sense of safety.

Working from home and remaining discreet in a small town

Webcam work is not paid as a day rate. Instead, you receive a share of revenue; the platforms’ payout rates range between 25 and 90 percent. The rate alone says nothing about your actual earnings, because demand, working hours, platform rules, and your own expenses also play a role.

With fan platforms and clips, you determine your content yourself within the rules of the respective platform. Nevertheless, check in advance which usage rights you grant, how payouts are made, and whether content can be downloaded or redistributed. There is no guaranteed income.

Discretion is often particularly important in a small town. A stage name separates your public profile from your legal name. Geoblocking means that selected countries or regions are blocked from access; it can reduce local visibility but offers no complete protection against screenshots, sharing, or technical circumvention.

Fees for photo productions range from 250 to 600 euros per shooting day. Video productions pay 400 to 1.200 euros per shooting day. For event companionship without sexual acts, the range is 200 to 500 euros per day.

A simple earnings example: A single photo day can bring 250 to 600 euros within the stated range, while a single video shooting day pays between 400 and 1.200 euros. This does not indicate a regular monthly income, because bookings, scope, and availability vary. The agreed fee is paid by bank transfer within 14 days and accompanied by a statement. Cash payments are not provided for. Before the job, check which services, usage rights, times, and travel costs have been recorded in writing.

If you receive citizen’s benefit, you must report additional income to the job centre. Ask your responsible job centre directly which documents are required and which allowances currently apply. Amounts may change and depend on your personal circumstances, so we do not state general thresholds here.

Safety and boundaries during casting and shooting

Participation is exclusively for people aged 18 and over; for age verification, you need a valid identity card or passport— a driver’s license is not sufficient. Without a valid document, neither a casting nor a shoot will take place. The document is checked through the designated process and is not replaced by a photo in a private chat.

A casting takes place only in a studio or booked location. At least three people are present, your companion is allowed without prior notice, and there are no sexual acts during the casting. If an invitation differs from this, you should not attend the appointment.

Your boundaries are based on the yes-no-maybe list containing 87 types of shooting content in the detailed application form. It becomes part of the shooting agreement. Anything you exclude may not be requested, even in exchange for additional payment.

You can stop a casting or shoot at any time. If you stop for safety reasons, your day rate remains payable. Agreed boundaries may not be expanded spontaneously or bypassed through time pressure, group pressure, or references to production costs already incurred.

Condoms are mandatory without exception during vaginal and anal intercourse, regardless of test results. Required STI tests, meaning examinations for sexually transmitted infections, may not be older than 14 to 30 days on the shooting day. The production covers these costs.

Before leaving, the location, contact person, start time, expected end time, fee, content, and return journey should be established. Save the agreements and tell someone you trust where you are. A reputable production accepts questions and gives you time to read documents before agreeing.
