Casting in Thuringia: Adult Jobs, Travel and Discretion

Casting in Thuringia currently means that you apply online and travel to Leipzig or Nuremberg for an agreed appointment. There is no casting studio in the state itself, but both casting cities are easy to reach by ICE, especially from Erfurt.

Casting opportunities for Erfurt, Jena, Weimar and Ilmenau

Erfurt is an important ICE hub, while Jena, Weimar and Ilmenau are home to several universities. This makes it possible to arrange a casting alongside your studies, training or job. You can find an overview of other areas under Casting regions in Germany.

From Erfurt, the ICE journey to Leipzig takes around 45 minutes, depending on your starting point and connection. Nuremberg is approximately 1.5 hours away. From Jena and Gera, you can reach Leipzig in around one hour.

For interested people from northern and eastern Thuringia, casting in Leipzig is often the most convenient option. For southern Thuringia, casting in Nuremberg may be more suitable. There is also a dedicated regional page with relevant information for locations in the Thuringian Forest.

Suitable open jobs and the next city pages are displayed automatically further down this page. Which production is currently looking for whom may change. It is therefore not possible to make a reliable promise about a specific number of offers or bookings.

How to get started from Thuringia

The first step is a free online application as a performer. Applications, the initial interview, casting, placement and contract review cost you nothing. You will receive a response to your application within 48 hours, even if placement is not possible.

The initial interview takes place by telephone or video. It covers your possible areas of work, availability, travel arrangements and personal boundaries. You do not have to commit to specific content yet and can take your time to clarify any questions.

An in-person casting is arranged only if it is required for a specific assignment or to create your set card. The appointment takes place in Leipzig, Nuremberg or another agreed casting city. Castings and shoots are conducted exclusively in a studio or booked location, never in a private home.

Especially when travelling a longer distance, it can be worthwhile to combine appointments. A casting, new profile-card photos and an already agreed production meeting may, where appropriate, take place on the same day. The article on getting started from a rural area without your own studio explains how to plan travel and availability.

Which jobs are available from Thuringia

Jobs in the erotic and adult sector are arranged. These include lingerie and nude photography, erotic photography, webcam work, content for fan platforms, film productions and event companionship without sexual acts. Work behind the camera may also be advertised.

We do not arrange purely fashion, catalogue or advertising-model jobs without an erotic focus. Every level offered remains voluntary. Anyone who wants to work exclusively in photography, conceal their face or exclude certain types of production should record this in writing before booking.

The opportunities may differ for women and men because productions are looking for specific roles and casts. Being added to the database therefore does not guarantee a booking. Set cards may carry the markers “Verified”, “Recommended”, “Available immediately” or “New” and have three visibility levels.

Webcam work and fan-platform content can generally be organised from home. You need a quiet, controllable space, reliable equipment and a deliberate approach to framing, background and personal data. With this form of work too, you should decide in advance whether your face will be visible and in which regions the content should be offered.

Fees, travel costs and additional income

For photo productions, fees are 250 to 600 euros per shooting day. Video productions provide for 400 to 1.200 euros per shooting day. Event companionship without sexual acts is paid at 200 to 500 euros per day.

A simple earnings example: for a photo day, the daily fee is between 250 and 600 euros; for a video day, it is between 400 and 1.200 euros. The specific amount agreed depends on the production, usage rights, time involved and booked content. The earnings calculator for productions and shooting days lets you assess different assignments using these ranges.

Webcam work has no fixed daily fee. Instead, you receive a share of revenue, with platform payout rates ranging from 25 to 90 percent. This does not result in a guaranteed monthly income because revenue, working hours and demand fluctuate.

The production covers the agreed travel costs and meals. If an overnight stay is necessary because of the distance or the appointment’s start time, it must be clarified in writing in advance whether and how it will be arranged and paid for. Payment is made within 14 days after the assignment by bank transfer with a statement, not in cash.

If you receive Bürgergeld, you must report income from castings, shoots, webcam work or fan platforms to the Jobcenter. You should ask them directly which allowances currently apply and which documents are required. The overview of additional income while receiving Bürgergeld explains the basic steps but does not replace an individual calculation.

Working discreetly, especially in smaller towns

In smaller towns around the Thuringian Forest, Eichsfeld, Kyffhäuser or Altenburger Land, discretion may be particularly important. You can use a stage name and agree with the production which details will be published. Contact takes place by email; letters are not sent to your home address.

For your own accounts, geoblocking can help restrict access in your region. Depending on the platform, neighbouring regions or countries can also be blocked. Geoblocking reduces visibility but does not guarantee that content will never be seen or shared through other means.

Your set card can be configured so that additional images remain obscured and contact details stay locked until activation. Data is not passed on without your consent in each individual case and is not transferred to other agencies. An informal deletion request by email is implemented within seven days.

Safety during casting and shooting

Participation is possible only from the age of 18; for age verification, you need a valid identity card or passport—a driving licence is not sufficient. No casting or shoot takes place without a valid document. At least three people are present during the casting, and you may bring a support person without prior notice.

There are no sexual acts during a casting. Your boundaries are recorded in the detailed application form using a yes-no-maybe list covering 87 possible types of content, which becomes part of the contract. Anything you have excluded may not be requested later, even in exchange for additional payment.

You can cancel an appointment or shoot at any time. If you cancel for safety reasons, the agreed daily fee remains payable. A mask and a support person are permitted; the set also has a private shower and a retreat room.

Condoms are mandatory without exception for vaginal and anal intercourse, regardless of test results. A required STI panel, meaning an examination for sexually transmitted infections, may not be older than 14 to 30 days on the shooting day. The production covers the cost; further rules can be found in the overview of safety during casting and shooting.
