Become a Model Without Experience: Paths and First Steps
Becoming a model is possible even without experience if you are reliable, set clear boundaries, and prepare realistically for castings and productions. We exclusively arrange jobs in the erotic and adult sector, including lingerie, nude, and erotic photography as well as film productions. Runway, fashion, and conventional advertising assignments without an erotic focus are not part of our offering.
What becoming a model with us means
The term model covers a wide range of activities. Some people first think of runway work, catalogs, or major advertising campaigns, while productions in the adult sector primarily look for authentic, reliable people for clearly described content.
You can start with photo productions for erotic products, bikini, or lingerie. Other voluntary levels include nude photography, erotic photography, and film productions. Before every application and booking, you decide which areas are suitable for you.
No one has to offer every level. A model job may consist exclusively of lingerie photos, while another production may specifically be looking for a nude model or performers for film recordings. An overview of typical photo model jobs in the erotic sector can be found on the related topic page.
Jobs behind the camera, webcam work, fan-platform content, and event accompaniment without sexual acts are also part of the broader industry environment. For placement, however, the production’s specific request always applies. The content must be described clearly before you accept.

Requirements without fixed measurements or modeling experience
Placement is only possible from the age of 18; this is verified with an identity card or passport, and a driver’s license is not sufficient. Without a valid document, there will be neither a casting nor a shoot.
We do not require specific body measurements, a minimum height, or conventional model training. Whether your profile suits an assignment depends on the individual request. Productions may, for example, be looking for a particular presence, style, visible features, or a specific visual concept.
Reliability and honest communication are more important than experience. This includes prompt replies, realistic information about your availability, and a willingness to read agreements carefully before booking.
- Reliability: Appointments and agreements are honored.
- Clear boundaries: You state clearly what you offer and what remains excluded.
- Up-to-date information: Your photos, appearance, and availability reflect your current situation.
- Professional conduct: Questions are clarified objectively before you agree to an assignment.
Application photos, casting, and first steps
Simple, recent smartphone photos are sufficient to get started. They should show you clearly, should not be heavily filtered, and should be taken in neutral lighting. Expensive studio shoots are not necessary for your first application.
A clearly recognizable portrait and a photo showing your build are useful. We explain which clothing and perspectives are suitable in more detail in the article about application photos for getting started. Nude photos are not necessary for initial contact.
After you apply, we review your information and reply within 48 hours, even if no acceptance or placement is possible. Applications, interviews, castings, placements, and contract reviews are free of charge for performers. There is neither a registration fee nor any deduction from your pay.
A casting is used to assess your appearance, demeanor, and general suitability for a request. It takes place only in a studio or booked location, never in a private residence. At least three people are present, you may bring an accompanying person without prior notice, and no sexual acts take place during the casting.
The page on professional model castings explains how an appointment is prepared and evaluated. A casting is not yet a commitment to later productions. After reviewing the terms, you can decline an offered assignment.

The voluntary levels from lingerie photos to film
Anyone looking to become a model without experience does not have to commit immediately to a broad area. The possible levels can be selected separately and reassessed later. Moving to an additional level only takes place with your express consent.
- Product photos in the erotic sector: This may include photos for erotic products, with the product and a clearly agreed visual concept at the center.
- Bikini and lingerie: These productions use clothed motifs; this does not automatically constitute consent to nude or erotic content.
- Nude: Nude photography is a separate area and must be expressly agreed.
- Erotic photography: Content, poses, usage rights, and boundaries are specified in detail before the appointment.
- Film production: Here too, only the profile discussed in advance and confirmed in the contract applies. Agreeing to photos does not mean agreeing to film recordings.
The individual levels differ not only in content but also in working methods, usage rights, and preparation. Anyone who specifically wants to become an erotic model should therefore review every offer individually and not grant blanket permissions.
Usage rights are particularly important. Before signing, it should be clear on which channels, in which territories, and for what period recordings may be used. It must also be clarified in advance whether your face will be visible or a mask will be used.
Set card and finding a suitable model job
After the review, a set card can be created. It summarizes photos, offered areas, availability, and other information for productions. The more accurately the set card reflects your actual profile, the easier it is to determine whether a request suits you.
The database includes the markers “Verified,” “Recommended,” “Immediately available,” and “New.” Three visibility levels are also available. Additional photos are obscured, and contact details remain locked until a production unlocks the set card.
A set card is not a guarantee of bookings or a specific income. It is a professional profile that allows verified productions to find suitable performers. A complete profile helps, but does not replace reviewing every individual offer.
Your data will not be shared without case-by-case consent and will not be forwarded to other agencies. Following an informal email, it will be deleted within seven days. Communication takes place by email, not by post.

Assessing pay for photo productions realistically
Pay for a photo production is 250 to 600 euros per shooting day. The exact amount depends on the assignment, the agreed content, and the usage rights. There is no guarantee how often you will be booked.
A simple earnings example: For one booked photo-shoot day, the daily pay falls within the range of 250 to 600 euros. Two separate photo-shoot days would mathematically amount to 500 to 1,200 euros, provided both are actually booked and completed in full. The production covers travel expenses and meals.
To assess different bookings personally, you can use the earnings calculator for performers. Payment is made within 14 days by bank transfer and with a settlement statement. Cash payments are not provided for.
The agency receives its mediation commission, agreed in writing in advance, from the production. Performers pay no commission, and nothing is deducted from their pay. Contract review also costs you nothing.
Boundaries, safety, and warning signs
Before a booking, you record your decisions in the Yes-No-Maybe list. The detailed application form contains 87 types of shoot content that you can assess individually. The completed list of your personal boundaries becomes part of the contract.
Anything you have excluded may not be demanded on set, even in exchange for additional payment. You can stop a situation at any time. If you stop for safety reasons, your daily pay remains due.
Condoms are mandatory without exception for vaginal and anal intercourse, regardless of test results. In addition, an STI panel is required for relevant film productions and must be no older than 14 to 30 days on the shooting day. The production covers these costs.
A private shower and a retreat room are provided on set. An accompanying person is permitted, and a mask can also be agreed. Before starting, you should know who your contact person is and whom to approach if you feel uncertain or experience a boundary violation.
Be cautious if an alleged agency demands money in advance for a sedcard, mandatory courses, or an expensive test shoot. Pressure to attend private meetings, unclear content, missing contracts, and spontaneous expansions of the assignment are also warning signs. Further information can help you identify dubious modeling offers.
A professional offer states the content, time, location, pay, travel expenses, and usage rights before you accept. Boundaries are not presented as an obstacle but as a binding part of the planning. To get started, you can introduce yourself through the free application as a model or performer.

How to become a model: become a photo model in five steps
If you want to become a photo model, you do not need runway experience or an expensive portfolio with us. The process is the same for women, men and couples and consists of a few clear, easy-to-follow steps:
- Define your areas: First, consider whether you want to offer only lingerie and bikini photos, nude photography as well, or filming too. Anything you do not select is excluded.
- Apply for free: Introduce yourself with two or three recent phone photos and details of your availability. You will receive a reply within 48 hours.
- Have your identity verified: Before every casting, you show a valid identity card or passport.
- Casting or initial meeting: You meet at the studio or a booked location, with no sexual acts and with a companion if you wish.
- Profile card and first enquiry: Only when a specific request matches your profile will you receive an offer stating the date, content, fee and usage rights.
If you later also consider filming, the page Become an adult performer explains how this separate step works. Agreeing to photos never means agreeing to filming.
At what age can you model?
For all assignments arranged through porno-casting.net, one rule applies without exception: you must be 18 or older. Your age is checked using an identity document before the casting, and every person appearing in a recording is verified individually. We do not accept applications before your 18th birthday, not even “for our records”.
There is no upper age limit. Whether you want to start at 25, 45 or 60 is not decided by age, but by whether a request suits your type, availability and boundaries.
Modeling as a side job
Most models work with us on the side: photo appointments are individual bookings, not shifts. You accept what fits your calendar and decline what does not. This does not automatically create a regular income, because nobody can predict how often suitable enquiries will arrive.
If you are looking for something alongside your studies or main job, Jobs for adults 18+ provides an overview of other options, such as content days, webcam work or behind-the-camera roles. For tax purposes, modeling remains self-employment, even if you only have a few appointments each year.
Become a best ager model: modeling at 40, 50 or later
Productions look for models of every age from 18 onwards. Older models are also regularly requested for lingerie, nude and erotic photography, often under terms such as best ager, senior model or model over 40. You do not need a special agency for older models: you apply through the same form, your profile card shows your current appearance, and productions filter according to their project requirements.
How do you become a senior model, and where can you apply as a model over 50? Just as at 25: recent, unedited photos, honest information and clear boundaries. Fake or heavily rejuvenated images are more likely to be a disadvantage, because the casting immediately reveals the difference. Advice for performers with life experience is available on the page Performers aged 30 and 40+.
Applying as a model: which direction suits you?
“Model” is a general term for us. The direction you choose determines which requests you see and which enquiries you receive:
- Bikini and lingerie: clothed images, often for lingerie or adult products. Find out more at Become a bikini model.
- Fetish: latex, PVC, leather or clearly defined roles. The details are explained at Fetish models wanted.
- Men: There are fewer requests for men, but there are dedicated opportunities. The page Become a male model explains what productions look for.
- Erotic: nude photos and erotic series with poses and usage rights agreed in advance.
Take a realistic view of a modeling career in Germany
We do not offer a traditional modeling career with runway work, campaigns and a permanent agency relationship. What we offer is access to paid photo and film assignments in the adult sector in Germany, with representation at no cost to you. Photo models who are reliable and keep their profile card up to date are more likely to receive repeat enquiries. Even so, there is no guarantee of follow-up bookings.
Frequently asked questions about getting started as a model
Can I become a model without experience?
Yes, experience is not a fixed requirement for applying. Recent photos, reliability, and clear information about your preferred areas are more important for getting started than previous assignments.
Do I need to be a certain height or have a particular figure?
There are no general measurement or height requirements. Whether a profile is suitable depends on the specific request and the production’s visual concept.
Do you also arrange regular fashion and runway jobs?
No, we are not a conventional fashion or runway agency. We exclusively arrange productions in the erotic and adult sector, with you deciding which offered levels you want to select.
Do I need professional photos for my application?
No, simple, unaltered smartphone photos are sufficient to get started. Good recognizability, neutral lighting, and a current appearance are important.
Do I have to perform anything revealing at a casting?
No, no sexual acts take place during the casting. The appointment is used to review your profile and is conducted exclusively in a studio or booked location.
Can I change my decision later?
Yes, you can reassess offered areas and boundaries and decline assignments. However, any usage rights already agreed for recordings made should be reviewed particularly carefully before signing.
Becoming a model does not begin with expensive photos or agreeing to every area, but with realistic information and clear decisions. Review every model job individually and take time before booking to consider the content, contract, and usage rights.
