Part-Time Erotic Work for Women: Options and Boundaries

Part-time work for women in the adult industry can include photo shoots, webcam work, fan-platform content, video productions or event accompaniment. Before every booking, you decide which type of work is suitable for you and which content remains excluded.

What erotic jobs are available for women?

The possible activities differ considerably. You do not have to start with video shoots or decide to do them later. Every step is voluntary and is discussed specifically before a booking.

Possible areas of work include:

  • Lingerie and nude photography: Photos for an agreed production, with the motifs and usage rights defined in advance.
  • Erotic photography: Photo shoots based on a more advanced but clearly limited concept.
  • Webcam: Work via a platform with a share of revenue instead of a fixed day rate.
  • Fan-platform content: Your own content, planned and published either by you or together with a production company.
  • Video productions: Shoots with content, boundaries, fees and usage rights agreed in advance.
  • Event accompaniment: Assignments without sexual acts, for example as part of an event or presentation.

You can find a more detailed classification of these activities in the professional profile for performers. We do not arrange purely fashion, catalogue or advertising modelling jobs without an erotic connection. The focus is on erotic and adult productions and related activities.

Starting as an erotic model does not oblige you to take part in other types of production. A commitment always applies only to the specifically described assignment.

Demand, requirements and the reality of the work

Demand, requirements and the reality of the work

Female performers are requested more often than male performers and earn more on average. However, no reliable blanket difference can be quantified because the type and scope of production, usage rights, experience and requirements vary.

A particular appearance or previous camera experience is not a general requirement. What matters is whether your profile matches a specific request and whether you feel comfortable with the agreed conditions. A booking or regular income cannot be guaranteed.

Part-time erotic work is possible only from the age of 18; at the casting and on the shoot day, adulthood is verified with a valid identity card or passport, while a driving licence is not sufficient. Without a valid document, neither casting nor shooting will take place.

Also consider how much time you can realistically set aside. In addition to the production itself, there may be travel, preparation and, where applicable, maintaining your own profile. The page on part-time work from age 18 provides a broader overview of possible activities.

Assessing fees and earnings realistically

For a photo production, the fee is 250 to 600 euros per shooting day. Video productions pay 400 to 1.200 euros per shooting day. For event accompaniment without sexual acts, 200 to 500 euros per day is provided.

There is no fixed day rate for webcam work. Instead, platforms pay out a share of the revenue generated. Depending on the platform, these payout rates range from 25 to 90 percent, but this alone says nothing about your actual earnings.

No general earnings range can be stated for fan platforms. Income depends, among other things, on prices, reach, publishing frequency, platform fees and the effort involved in communication. Therefore, do not plan on the basis of a guaranteed monthly amount.

Example of earnings: For a single video shooting day, the agreed fee is 400 to 1.200 euros. How often suitable bookings arise is uncertain. With the earnings calculator for performers, you can model different numbers of shooting days using the applicable ranges.

Payment is made within 14 days by bank transfer and accompanied by a statement. Cash payments are not provided for. The production covers meals and travel expenses.

Your boundaries apply before, during and after agreeing

In the detailed application form, you record your decisions in a yes-no-maybe list containing 87 possible types of shoot content. This list becomes part of the contract. Excluded content may not be requested, even in exchange for a higher premium.

“Maybe” is not advance consent. It means that a specific request may be discussed. Only after clear information has been provided and you have given your express consent can the relevant content become part of an agreement.

You can stop a shoot at any time. If it is stopped for safety reasons, your day rate remains payable. Guidance on preparing your personal boundaries is available in the detailed explanation of the yes-no-maybe list.

In a relationship, it can be helpful to discuss visibility, types of work and personal boundaries early on. For example, clarify whether you want to work with a mask, which publications would be difficult for you and which information should remain private. The decision about your assignment and your body nevertheless remains yours.

A mask is generally permitted. It reduces recognisability, but cannot completely rule out later identification by third parties. Also discuss your stage name, image sections and planned publication channels before booking.

Safe casting, health and support

A casting takes place exclusively in a studio or booked location, never in a private home. At least three people are present. Sexual acts are not part of a casting.

You may bring a support person without prior notice. This also applies if it was not expressly discussed beforehand. A private shower and a quiet room are available to you on set.

If you wish, you can ask the agency whether a female contact person is available for your conversation or further coordination. This cannot be guaranteed in every situation, but you can expressly communicate your preference.

Productions require an STI panel, meaning a test for sexually transmitted infections. On the shooting day, the result must be no more than 14 to 30 days old. The production covers the cost.

Condoms are mandatory without exception for vaginal and anal sex. This applies regardless of whether current tests are available. Further rules on support persons, stopping a shoot and protected procedures are summarised on the page about safety at casting and shoots.

You should not make health-related decisions under time pressure. If you have symptoms, take medication or are unsure about planned content, seek medical advice before the appointment. A production must not treat a current test result as a substitute for protective measures.

Application, placement and discretion

Application, placement and discretion

The application, interview, any casting, placement and contract review are free of charge for female performers. The agency receives no commission from your fee. If a placement is successful, the production pays a placement commission agreed in writing in advance.

You will receive a reply to an application within 48 hours, including in the event of rejection. You can apply free of charge as a performer via the relevant page and state which areas are generally suitable for you.

Your data is not routinely passed on to productions or other agencies. It is shared only with your consent in the individual case concerned. Upon an informal email request, your data will be deleted within seven days.

Communication takes place by email, not by post. Set cards can be maintained in the database at three visibility levels. Further images remain obscured and contact details blocked until an authorised production unlocks contact.

Discretion also includes a realistic assessment of digital publications. Agreed protective measures can reduce discoverability, but complete control over copied or forwarded content cannot be guaranteed after publication. Therefore, check usage rights, period, territory and channels before signing.

Frequently asked questions about part-time work for women

Do I have to pay for the application or placement?

No. The application, interview, casting, placement and contract review are free of charge for you. No agency commission is deducted from your fee.

Do I have to perform anything revealing at a casting?

No. There are no sexual acts at the casting. The appointment is used to clarify questions, suitability, boundaries and possible types of production.

Can I accept photo jobs only?

Yes. You can limit yourself to lingerie, nude or erotic photography and exclude video productions. Your selection is not automatically expanded simply because you have already accepted an assignment.

May I bring a friend or my partner?

Yes. A support person is permitted without prior notice. This does not change the fact that only you decide about your consent and your boundaries.

What happens if I change my mind on set?

You can stop a situation or the entire shoot at any time. Excluded content may not be renegotiated or requested in exchange for a premium; if the shoot is stopped for safety reasons, your day rate remains payable.

Can I work anonymously?

You can request a mask and restricted visibility of your set card. However, complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed for published recordings, which is why usage rights and publication channels should be clarified precisely in advance.

Part-time work for women in the adult industry requires clear agreements rather than pressure. Decide only on specifically described offers and allow yourself enough time for boundaries, contracts and health-related questions.
