Why there are figures here
We have looked at what the well-known German casting sites write about money. The result is striking: not one of them names a fee. Instead you read that the work is “often very well paid”, and a few paragraphs later that “only a few get rich”.
Both statements are true. Neither one helps you decide. If you are considering applying, you want to know what we are talking about — beforehand, not after the casting.
That is why the ranges from current productions are listed here. They are not a promise: what you get depends on the role, the length of the day, the content and the production. But this is the order of magnitude we are talking about.
Day rates by type of production
Figures per shooting day, gross, before taxes. Half shooting days are charged proportionally.
photo production
250 – 600 €
Sets for magazines, portals, and campaigns. Usually four to eight hours. The calmest way to get started, because it is predictable and involves no video recording.
video production
400 – 1.200 €
From an individual scene to feature-film length. The range depends on the shooting duration, role and content. Supporting roles are at the lower end, while leading roles showing the face are at the upper end.
Event accompaniment
200 – 500 €
Trade fairs, presentations and photo calls. No sexual acts. Usually agreed per day or half-day.
We do not calculate webcam and livestream work using daily Fees because the income runs directly through the platform. Payout rates there are usually between 25 and 90 percent of revenue, depending on the provider. We tell you beforehand which platform pays which rate, and we take none of it.
What moves the fee up
- Face on camera. The biggest single factor. Productions without a facial recording pay noticeably less because they are less commercially usable.
- Scope of usage rights. Rights that are unlimited in terms of time and territory cost more than limited exploitation in German-speaking countries.
- Reliability. Anyone who is punctual, arrives prepared and keeps agreements will be booked again. The second booking is almost always better paid than the first.
- Niche rather than mass appeal. Clearly defined preferences and distinctive features increase demand because they are harder to cast.
- Experience in front of the camera. Fewer takes mean shorter shooting days. Every production notices this and factors it in.
- Your own reach. Anyone who brings their own channel to the table negotiates differently. It is not essential, but it is leverage.
Invoicing and tax
How payment works. Transfer to your account within 14 days after the shoot, with a statement showing the shooting day, service and amount. We do not offer cash payments — not because they would be illegal, but because without a receipt, you have nothing to rely on in the event of a dispute.
No commission. We do not deduct anything from your Fee. Our compensation comes from the production. This also makes it clear that we have no interest in pushing down your Fee.
Taxes are your responsibility. You work on a self-employed basis. This means declaring your income for tax purposes, generally registering a business, and charging VAT above certain thresholds. We do not pay taxes for you and are not permitted to provide tax advice. What we do is provide you with a proper statement that a tax adviser can work with. If you do not have one, tell us during the conversation.

You are paid per filming day, not a fixed salary or hourly wage. As an example from current productions: 400 to 1,200 euros gross per filming day for video productions and 250 to 600 euros for photo productions. Your monthly total depends on how often you work.

How to Assess Fee Ranges Correctly
Porn performer earnings depend on the specific assignment. As a guide, fees range from 250 to 600 euros per shooting day for photo productions and from 400 to 1.200 euros per shooting day for video productions. For event appearances without sexual acts, the range is 200 to 500 euros per day.
These amounts are not a guarantee of income and do not yet show where an offer falls within the respective range. For an initial assessment, you can use the earnings calculator for productions and shooting days.
Role, Shooting Time, and Workload
A larger or more central role may be paid differently from a limited assignment. What matters is what was actually agreed: the scope of participation, required shooting time, preparation, and organisational requirements should be set out in writing before you accept.
Shooting time also affects the calculation. A daily fee refers to an agreed shooting day, not automatically to every possible assignment length. The start, expected end, breaks, and possible waiting times should therefore be clarified before you accept the assignment.
Face, Usage Rights, and Buyout
Whether your face is clearly recognisable or you work with a mask may be relevant to the reach and long-term attribution of the recordings. Wearing a mask is permitted, but its use should be expressly agreed and also observed during production.
For usage rights, the relevant factors include the period, territory, and publication channels. A comprehensive buyout can make recordings usable for a long time or permanently and should therefore not be treated like a limited publication. Exclusivity can also affect the price because it may restrict further assignments or your own publications. Therefore, check exactly which content, platforms, regions, and periods it is intended to cover. Unclear or unlimited wording should be clarified before signing.
Boundaries Are Not a Matter of Price
Personal boundaries are not negotiable in exchange for an additional fee. The yes-no-maybe list with 87 shooting activities from the detailed application form becomes part of the contract. Anything you have excluded may not be requested on set.
You can stop a shoot at any time. If the shoot is stopped for safety reasons, the daily fee remains payable. By contrast, objective points such as the fee, scope of use, exclusivity, or organisational workload can be negotiated; an overview is provided in the article on negotiating a fee.
Payment Method and Invoicing
Payment is made within 14 days by bank transfer and with an itemised statement. Cash payments are not provided for. Travel costs, meals, and the cost of the required STI panel are covered by the production; on the shooting day, the test result may not be older than 14 to 30 days.
Record the fee, scope of services, usage rights, and payment deadline in writing. After the shoot, you should check the statement and receipt of payment and keep the documents for your own bookkeeping. The process is summarised under Invoicing after the shoot.
