Casting in the Thuringian Forest: Jobs, Travel and Discretion

A casting in the Thuringian Forest begins online, not with a journey into the unknown. You complete your application and initial interview from home, while an in-person casting or production takes place at a studio in the nearest casting city.

Working between Suhl, Ilmenau and Oberhof

The Thuringian Forest is rural, but not isolated. Places such as Suhl, Ilmenau, Oberhof, Schmalkalden and Neuhaus am Rennweg lie between tourism, smaller towns and longer travel distances. TU Ilmenau also brings students to the region who are looking for predictable part-time work.

We exclusively arrange jobs in the erotic and adult sector. These include lingerie and nude photography, erotic photos, webcam work, content for fan platforms, film productions, event accompaniment without sexual acts and behind-the-camera work. Pure fashion or advertising modeling jobs without an erotic connection are not part of our services.

You can find an overview of opportunities in the federal state at Casting in Thuringia. Further down this page, suitable open jobs in the surrounding area and the nearest city pages are displayed automatically. It is not possible to predict in general which listings are currently available.

How getting started works from the Thuringian Forest

As a first step, you can apply online as a performer. The application, interview, any casting, placement and contract review are free of charge. You will receive a response within 48 hours, even if placement is not possible.

The initial interview takes place by telephone or video. Interests, possible areas of work, availability and personal boundaries are discussed. No travel is required for this.

Only once a suitable project and a specific date have been confirmed will an in-person casting follow, if necessary. This takes place exclusively in a studio or booked location, never in a private residence. At least three people are present at the casting, an accompanying person may come along without prior notice, and sexual acts are excluded.

Travel via Erfurt to Leipzig or Nuremberg

Erfurt is the nearest ICE hub for the region. From Suhl or Ilmenau, the journey to Erfurt takes around one hour, depending on the starting point. From there, the ICE takes about 45 minutes to Leipzig as a casting city or approximately 1.5 hours to casting in Nuremberg.

Which city is more suitable depends on the production and your starting point. Casting and filming can be combined where possible. Several confirmed appointments can also be scheduled on one travel day or on directly consecutive days, provided that everyone involved coordinates this in writing beforehand.

The production covers travel expenses and meals. If an overnight stay is necessary because of the connection or production schedule, it must be clarified before acceptance whether and how it will be arranged. You should not book a journey before the location, time, reimbursement and contact person have been confirmed in writing.

Earnings, appointments and working from home

For photo productions, the fee is 250 to 600 euros per production day, and for video productions it is 400 to 1.200 euros. Event accompaniment without sexual acts is paid at 200 to 500 euros per day. The actual amount depends on the agreed assignment and is not guaranteed regular income.

A simple earnings example: For a booked video production day, the range is 400 to 1.200 euros. Travel expenses and meals are additionally covered by the production. With the production-day earnings calculator, you can compare different bookings based on these ranges.

Payment is made by bank transfer within 14 days and with a statement, not in cash. Performers pay no placement fee, and no commission is deducted from their fee.

Anyone who does not want to travel for every appointment can also consider a part-time job from home. Webcam work or creating your own content for fan platforms may be possible. Webcam offers do not involve a fixed daily fee but rather a share of revenue; platform payout rates range from 25 to 90 percent.

Discretion and safety in a small town

In a smaller town, chance encounters can attract attention more quickly than in a large city. A stage name separates your public appearance from your private name. For your own online content, geoblocking can be used to exclude your region and, where the platform offers this option, neighboring countries if necessary.

Age of majority is verified using an identity card or passport; a driving license is not sufficient, and there is neither a casting nor a production without a valid document. No letters are sent; communication takes place by email. Data is not passed on without case-by-case consent or shared with other agencies and is deleted within seven days of an informal email request.

Before a production, the yes-no-maybe list covering 87 possible production activities is established and made part of the contract. Excluded activities will not be requested, even in exchange for an additional fee. You can stop at any time; if you do so for safety reasons, the daily fee remains payable.

Condoms are mandatory without exception for vaginal and anal intercourse, regardless of test results. An STI panel may not be older than 14 to 30 days on the production day; the production covers the cost. Further binding procedures are explained on the page about safety during casting and production.
