Casting in the Prignitz: Getting Started, Travel and Discretion

Prignitz casting does not mean that you have to move to a major city permanently to get started in the adult industry. Berlin and Hamburg can be reached via the ICE stop in Wittenberge, while your application and initial interview can initially take place from home.

Prignitz between Brandenburg, Berlin and Hamburg

The historic Prignitz region extends across northwestern Brandenburg and mainly includes Landkreis Prignitz (Prignitz district), as well as parts of Ostprignitz-Ruppin. The offer is aimed at adults from Perleberg, Wittenberge, Pritzwalk, Bad Wilsnack, Meyenburg and the surrounding area. Since the district has no university, adult students mainly commute to Berlin or Hamburg. As of 30.10.2026, no job is available directly in Prignitz. Online or video contact is sufficient for the application and initial interview; the casting and production then take place in the job cities mentioned.

Travel from Prignitz to the job cities

The travel times from Prignitz to Berlin and Hamburg are based on the timetable information for Tuesday, 3 November 2026, from 6 a.m.:

• Wittenberge → Hamburg: 1 Std. 04 Min. direct by ICE.

The Deutschlandticket is valid only for the local transport connections mentioned; you need a separate ticket for ICE sections. By car, the A24 Berlin–Hamburg provides access to eastern Prignitz near Pritzwalk and Meyenburg. The A14 is being built in sections.

Open jobs for applicants from Prignitz

There are currently 12 jobs available in Berlin: these include a webcam studio, pay-site, photo and video productions, as well as listings for couples and men. Hamburg offers 2 open jobs, namely an erotic photo shoot and a video production for couples. You can find an overview with further regional information on the Brandenburg state page.

Planning travel costs and appointments from Prignitz

You generally pay for travel to the casting yourself in accordance with the information on travel costs and appointments. If the journey is long, you should use the video call to clarify as many points as possible in advance. Before agreeing to an actual shooting day, clarify the travel costs. If travelling there and back on the same day is not reasonable, the production usually covers travel and accommodation; for shorter distances, the journey is generally considered covered by the daily fee. Wittenberge–Berlin appears relatively short, while travelling from Pritzwalk to Berlin by local transport seems relatively long. This does not constitute a promise to cover the costs. Keep every agreement in writing.

Working from Prignitz, pay and safety

Whether you live in Perleberg, Wittenberge, Pritzwalk, Bad Wilsnack or Meyenburg: if you do not want to travel, you can work from home regardless of location via webcam. The pay depends on the production, scope of work and individual agreement; the earnings calculator provides guidance. Only adults aged 18 or over may apply. Before every casting, your identity card or passport is checked. Castings and shoots take place exclusively in a studio or at a booked location, never in a private home. You may bring a companion and stop at any time. Further rules are available under Safety at the casting.

Health and testing services in Perleberg

The Gesundheitsamt des Landkreises Prignitz (public health office of Landkreis Prignitz) operates an advice centre for tuberculosis and sexual health in Perleberg, offering advice on STIs and HIV. Anonymous, free HIV tests with counselling are available there. Coordinate your visit with the centre in advance; the district website provides current consultation hours. Under § 19 Infektionsschutzgesetz, public health offices offer advice and examinations for STIs, anonymously where there is an increased risk. However, an anonymous test without a written report does not replace a production panel. On the shooting day, the STI panel may be no more than 14 to 30 days old; the production covers the cost. More information is available under Health on set.

Business registration and tax office in Prignitz

If you become self-employed on a commercial basis with webcam work or your own content, you must register the business with your local municipality of residence. In municipalities belonging to an administrative district, administration is handled by the relevant Amt (administrative office); if you live in Perleberg, Wittenberge or Pritzwalk, the city administration is responsible. In the next step, you submit the questionnaire for tax registration electronically via ELSTER. The Finanzamt (tax office) responsible for your income tax remains the one at your place of residence. Further information is available under Business registration and taxes.

Maintaining discretion between Wittenberge and the major cities

Berlin and Hamburg can be reached from Wittenberge by ICE in under 1,5 Std. You can therefore choose according to the offer and do not have to limit yourself to the nearest job city. Since smaller towns have few railway stations and you may run into acquaintances on the platform, early appointments can be useful. Practical advice is available under discreet planning in a small town.
