Adult work: who finds out? Your private environment or employer will not be informed automatically. However, you must provide the required information to the tax office, health insurer and, where applicable, job centre or student finance office (BAföG office) completely and truthfully.
Who may find out about adult work
Whether someone learns about your work mainly depends on the form of employment, your reporting obligations and whether material is published. There is no central public list of performers. Applying for work also does not mean that family members, employers or authorities will be notified.
Information may reach organisations to which you must report income or self-employment. This also includes people with access to your bank account and users who recognise published material. The guide to working anonymously in the adult sector shows which decisions are important even before your first booking.
- The agency knows the information required for your application, verification and placement.
- The production receives only the data released for a specific enquiry or booking.
- Authorities and insurers receive required information through declarations, applications or supporting documents.
- Your bank processes transfers and the payment reference used with them.
- Your private environment may notice the work through bank statements, appointments or published recordings.

What the agency does with your data
porno-casting.net does not routinely pass on personal data. Data is passed on only with your consent in the individual case. Data is also not transmitted to other agencies.
Set cards may be displayed differently depending on the selected visibility level. Further images remain concealed and contact details blocked until an authorised production unlocks contact. Markers such as “Verified”, “Recommended”, “Immediately available” or “New” help classify profiles within the database.
An informal email is sufficient to request deletion of your data. This will take place within seven days. No letters are sent; communication takes place by email via the website.
An optional application as a performer is also free of charge. You pay nothing for the application, interview, casting, placement or contract review, and the agency does not deduct a commission from your fee. Applications receive a response within 48 hours, including in the event of a rejection.
Tax office, health insurer, job centre and student finance office (BAföG office)
Income from adult work is not private merely because you appear under a stage name. The information required by the tax office depends, among other things, on whether you work as a self-employed person, in a commercial capacity or under another type of contract. The work may be described objectively and neutrally, but the information must be accurate.
Using a deliberately false occupational title or concealing income is not a privacy measure. Terms such as photography, video, media or content work may be appropriate depending on the actual work. If in doubt, clarify the specific description with a tax adviser experienced in self-employed media work.
Your health insurer may also need information about your income and professional status. This applies especially if the scope or main focus of your work changes. Which documents are required depends on your type of insurance and personal situation.
If you receive citizen’s benefit or benefits from the employment agency, income, working hours and changes to your work may have to be reported. For student finance, income and other financial circumstances may be relevant to the calculation. You should check current requirements and figures directly with the responsible organisation or an independent advice service.
These organisations do not automatically inform your family or employer about every reported income. However, overlaps may occur, for example with joint applications, family insurance or documents to which other people have access. It is therefore important to check in advance which documents may be visible in your personal situation.

Employer, family and joint account
An employer does not automatically learn which assignments you accept outside your employment. However, employment or collective agreements may require secondary employment to be reported or approved. This often concerns working hours, competition, ability to perform and possible conflicts of interest.
There is no general answer to how specifically you must describe the work. A neutral but truthful description is advisable. The article on adult side work and your main employer explains the typical questions about notification, contracts and professional separation in greater detail.
Family members, partners or people sharing your home receive no notification from the agency. Nevertheless, the work may become visible through shared calendars, email accounts, devices or bank access. Payments are made within 14 days by bank transfer with a statement; cash payment is not provided for.
The payment reference on a bank statement may prompt questions. If you use a joint account or have granted other people account authorisation, you should consider this practical risk. Advice for an environment where people are closely connected can be found under staying discreet in a small town.
Face, stage name, mask and geoblocking
The greatest uncertainty usually comes not from authorities but from publications. A stage name separates your public appearance from your legal name, but it does not prevent recognition through your face, voice, tattoos, rooms or personal information. The guide to the right stage name can help with your choice.
Depending on the project, productions may agree to recordings without a recognisable face, with a mask or with limited image sections. Such boundaries must be clearly stated in the contract and the Yes-No-Maybe list beforehand. The article on reach without a recognisable face also discusses practical options.
Geoblocking limits the regular display of content in selected regions. However, it offers no complete protection against copying, screen recordings, sharing or technical circumvention. The overview on geoblocking for creators explains what this function can do and where its limits lie.
The residual risk remains: once published, material can be copied and remain discoverable for a long time. Even later deletion by the original provider cannot reliably remove all copies. Before agreeing, decide which features may be visible and for which channels, regions and periods usage rights are granted.
Earnings and visible payment trails
Fees for photo productions range from 250 to 600 euros per shooting day, and from 400 to 1,200 euros for video productions. Event companionship without sexual acts is paid at 200 to 500 euros per day. Webcam work has no fixed daily fee; platforms pay out revenue shares of 25 to 90 percent.
A possible earnings example is therefore a single video shooting day with 400 to 1,200 euros. This is not a promise of assignments or regular income. With the earnings calculator for productions and shooting days, you can compare scenarios within the stated ranges.
Travel expenses, meals, a private shower and a retreat room are covered or provided by the production. Payment is made within 14 days by bank transfer with a statement. This creates traceable records for your accounts and possible documentation for responsible organisations.
Safety and boundaries during casting and shoots
The platform works exclusively with adults; a valid identity card or passport is required for age verification, and a driving licence is not sufficient. Without a valid document, there is no casting or shoot.
A casting takes place only in a studio or booked location, never in a private home. At least three people are present, a support person is allowed without prior notice, and there are no sexual acts during casting.
Your Yes-No-Maybe list containing 87 types of scene becomes part of the contract. Excluded content will not be requested, even for a higher amount. You can stop at any time; if you do so for safety reasons, the agreed daily fee remains payable.
Condoms are mandatory without exception for vaginal and anal intercourse. In addition, an STI panel is required that is no more than 14 to 30 days old on the shooting day; the production covers the cost. A support person, a mask and a private retreat room also remain possible protective measures.
Frequently asked questions about discretion in adult work
Will the agency inform my family or employer?
No. There is no automatic notification and no letters are sent. Data is passed on to a production only with your consent in the specific case.
Can I describe the work neutrally to the tax office?
An objective description from the photography, video, media or content sector may be appropriate if it accurately reflects your actual work. Income and the type of work must not be concealed or misrepresented.
Will my health insurer see the exact content of the productions?
Your health insurer may request information about your income and professional status. The required description and supporting documents depend on your type of insurance and individual case; unnecessary details about the content are not automatically required.
Does a stage name provide complete protection against recognition?
No. A stage name protects your legal name in your public appearance, but not against recognition through your face, voice, tattoos or other features.
Can I have publications removed completely later?
You can have existing rights and deletion options reviewed with your contractual partners. However, complete removal from the internet cannot be guaranteed because material may have been copied or shared outside the agreed channels.
Do I have to inform my main employer about the side job?
This depends on your employment contract, any collective agreements and the circumstances of the secondary work. In particular, check notification or approval requirements, working hours, competition issues and possible conflicts of interest.
Discretion can be improved through separate accounts and devices, clear contracts, limited visibility and deliberately chosen publication methods. However, no reputable person can promise complete invisibility for paid work that is published.
