Cancellation on the shoot day is the compensation you receive when you have shown up and the production does not shoot.
How to recognize this in practice
You kept the day free. That has a price, even if no scene is filmed.
The entry shoot day is related. For the broader context, see daily rate. Open bookings in which the term plays a role can be found under porn performer jobs.
What you check before accepting
- What percentage of the fee applies in that case?
- Does this also apply in cases of force majeure?
- Do you still receive the travel expenses?
Distinction
A fee only for finished material shifts the entire risk onto you. Other terms are cancellation fee and shoot day without filming. The application itself is submitted via the form and costs you nothing. This entry explains the term and does not replace legal advice.
